From LVC Head coach Jackie Dando --
“Alex Stambaugh is an extremely hard working and passionate coach who has made a mark on the Lebanon Valley College Women’s Lacrosse team in just one season. She invests heavily into the team and pushes them to develop into the best players possible with the perfect blend of constructive feedback and encouragement. Coach Alex is a tremendous role model for our college players and for youth players as well. She has assisted me in all areas of the program with particular strengths in player development, practice planning, film breakdown, opponent scouting, recruiting, and social media. In 2018, her impact was felt immediately as our team finished with a 13-5 record and advanced to our first MAC Commonwealth Championship. Coach Alex specifically works with our attack unit and draw specialists. This season, freshmen Jaclyn Little tied the single game draw record with 12, and Makenzie Kelley (Xtreme 15) matched the single game goal record (2x, 9g). Under Coach Alex’s guidance, Attacker Makenzie Kelley was named to the All Conference 1st Team, as well as Attacker Veronica Venezia named Conference Rookie of the Year, and the LVC coaching staff recognized as Coaching Staff of the Year. It is rare to find such a mature and impressive young coach, and I know Coach Alex will be an outstanding addition to Xtreme Lacrosse.”
